Underrated: Weekend Morning Movies

Watching a movie at the theater before noon is a great thing - and one that many people don't fully appreciate.  Here's my reasoning:

Low attendance: There are so few people that go to movies in the morning, you can pretty much pick any seat you like. This produces the obvious benefit of not having to sit next to strangers, but also, the chances of someone talking loudly throughout the movie are decreased significantly.  People who go to the movies in the morning are there to see the movie, and that's it.

Coffee:
There is something about drinking coffee at the movies. Sure, you can drink coffee at a 7pm show, but it doesn't have the same effect.  Drinking coffee in the morning at the movies is relaxing.

Financial:
My regular theater offers half price tickets before noon on weekends.  Nice bonus.

Post Show:
When the movie is over, you're not tired, it's still bright outside, and you have the rest of the day to do whatever you'd like.

Don't knock the morning movie.
